This project incorporates a poster, magazine and web page highlighting species invasive to the United States.

Poster

I used a vintage horror movie aesthetic with a clever, if somewhat misleading, title for the poster to create interest in the topic. I wanted to catch peoples attention so they would be more inclined to look it over. I also kept the design fairly simple, with large defining elements, so people could quickly glean information and interpret its true meaning.

Magazine

In the magazine spreads, I used a more journal like look in the spreads, while still keeping in tune with a horror theme. The magazine format allowed me to include more graphic elements and detailed written information. I drew four large illustrations that draw in the eye and tie together all the elements, and also modified them for use as icons for the poster.
